Aaryampaadam village in Mundathikoce Panchayath, is an ultra rural place in Thrissur District. The company had purchased 667 cents of land in Aaryampaadam about 25 years back. Being one of the most back-ward areas, It was lacking even the basic medical facilities. Doctors where not available in the near vicinity. The nearby villagers have to approach the doctors at Govt. hospital, Wadakkancherry, for their medical needs. Considering their hardships, the company started a hospital with medical laboratory, pharmacy etc. at our Aaryampadam property. This hospital was inaugurated on 27th March 1993 by the Catholic Bishop of Thrissur, Mar Joseph Kundukulam. This hospital is successfully serving the poor people of this locality for the last 23 years. This being the main charitable activity of the company, we are charging only a small amount as the registration fee, doctor’s consultation is free, medicine is issued at a concessional rate, minor surgeory, lab tests etc. are done at a nominal rate, and in desirable cases the medicine is free. Apart from the regular doctor on all working days, one of our directors Dr. Vincent Paul, who is a skin specialist, is attending the patients on all Wednesdays as a free service.
